All of MIKCO's sea kayaks have multiple solid bulkheads, are designed with attention to on-water safety, and long term durability. We chose boats for their on-water performance in the variety of conditions we've experienced over thousands of miles with thousands of paddlers. Most of our kayaks have custom front bulkheads, a variety of skegs and seats, and other specialized outfitting. They're are suitable for athletic beginners, intermediate and seasoned paddlers.

Nigel Dennis designs. Super fit, very neutral, easy rolling. More of our guides have paddled these boats than any other kayak made. These are durable, rugged, do everything, day/play/expedition grade boats that are amazingly suitable for athletic beginners. Their rough water comfort is superb, enhancing your confidence and ability to paddle lumpy seas.

Fit- Form-Function-Feel & Fun

We've put hundreds of paddlers in sea kayaks over our last 20 years, and are skilled at matching your size, shape, physical and paddling skills with the right hull to enhance your comfort, fun and safety. MIKCo's "Fit-Form-Function-Feel-Fun" analysis helps you make sense of the many variables in finding, and maybe buying a properly fitted and sized sea kayak for your primary needs and interests.

Pricing & Custom Foam Fitting.

Full price new boat sales include custom-cut hip and thigh pads for enhanced contact between you and your boat, free mounting of compasses and specialized backbands, and front bulkhead foam for paddlers with custom front bulkheads. Ask us about custom RDFs (recessed deck fitting), under deck pump holders, in-cockpit additions. We also foam and fit any other boats by appointment if you are interested in the advantages of increased contact, better seating position and longer term comfort.
