VCP Pintail — Deal of the Week Valley Canoe Products (VCP) Pintail with ocean cockpit, rear rope skeg, Silva 70 P, foam seat. This is the classic Valley play boat that so many of us still enjoy. Excellent for smaller or better paddler; though I paddled for years at 6' 180lb. Great rock garden, rough water play boat, and we regularly used for weekend trips. Just taken in on trade. Never been broken. Normal wear and tear.

Outer Island Woodstrip Kayak.
Designed by Jay Babina for performance, rolling ability, low windage and speed. It's a low volume strip-built, West Greenland style for intermediate to advanced paddlers. Beam is 21", length 18'. This build has mahogany inserts around the excellent kayak sport hatches, day hatch, triple bulkheads and a beautiful carbon composite cockpit rim. As I recall, its covered in a 6 and 8 oz cloth so is as strong as any boat. It's had very few days in the water, is mostly stored inside, and is nearly scratchless.

The Old Town Cayuga's are performance recreational boats. Designed by Necky and Old Town's professional designer/paddler's Spike & Murray, these boats have many of the same high secondary stability traits of the modern sea kayaks, but in a user friendly wider hull, and simple, solid, do anything design. I prefer the 130 personally for its fun factor. Take these surfing, rock gardening, put your inexperienced friends in them, and get out on the water. The boats have the safety of multiple bulkheads, but mostly they are just... fun to paddle!
